Plan Bee For Water
Watch Our Video Below!
When in doubt, use PLAN BEE!
We are Plan Bee and we are a First Lego League Robotics team. We attend Beehive Science & Technology Academy and we range from 6th grade - 8th grade. This year in our competitions we received 1st in region & 1st in project in state. Due to our hard work and dedication, we have been invited to another competition in Arkansas called the Razorback Invitational. We all want to go and compete and continue spreading the word about our disaster relief project
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Please help us raise money so that we can go to the competition. Your money goes towards housing , registration fees, and transportation. We spend so many hours during and after school to get where we are and we would love to continue on to the invitational. We would be so grateful to have any help you can give us!
Our Disaster Relief Project!
Problem:
People in disaster situations such as hurricanes, earthquakes, etc . do not always have a way of getting clean water.
Our Solution:
Do you know how morning dew occurs to the lowered temperatures in the morning? This works like that, on a larger and more immediate scale! The thermoelectric cooler has semiconductors which split positive and negative power to either side- this creates heat and coldness, the cold side causing moisture from the air to freeze onto it. Once the polarity is switched you've got drinking water made from the air!
We plan to turn this small idea and make it larger! We want to put the Thermal Electric Cooler in shipping containers powered by solar panels. We deducted from our data that on this large scale we could provide water to 200 people in just one night!
Thank you for Bee-ing kind & supporting our team!
